Great turnout this weekend! Biggest local session to date, gave away a lot of swag, had tons of fun. Thanks to Organic Hogwash, Push Culture, Phat Deanz, Buzzed Precision Trucks, Skanunu Brands, Original Skateboards, Sector 9 Skateboards, Loaded Boards, and Bustin Brooklyn for handing out gear and swag to Scott and I over the Broadway Bomb weekend, we were stoked to pass it along to these kids who (for most of them) came out to their first large longboard session. Spreading the stoke!! -KF
(iPhone Photo snapped by Earl Stout III) Katie and Scott posing with the Organic Hogwash banner on hay at the final left hand turn of the IGSA I Love Downhill New York Grand Prix hosted by Marc Dean. Scott raced in the Professional Downhill Division and was knocked out in the last heat before the quarter finals. Katie won an honorable mention in the Shralper’s Union Slide Jam hosted by Noel Korman of the Shralper’s Union and Steve Kong of Earthwing Skateboards. This was Amish Downhill’s first professional event and we are pretty stoked on the results.

Weekend Swag! Scott and Katie met up with Austin at PSU for Landyachtz East Coast Campus Tour/downhill session on Friday and Washington DC Season Kick off Slide Jam on Saturday. Landyachtz stoked them out with a signed pintail/baseplate coat rack, shirts, & hats. Scott won a set of Bustin Swifts and an Omen deck and was crowned “King of the Rain” at the slide jam, while Katie was recognized with three other competing ladies, taking home a Jati Ninjati. Thanks to Buzzed Trucks, Landyachtz, Billy Jackle and all of the event sponsors for making this weekend memorable! Scott & Katie are looking forward to sharing their new gear with their friends in the 717.
